A huge black mare walked slowly. She looked around and saw other mares, and a few stallions. They wouldn't make eye contact with her. She slowed to a stop, and looked around a little more. She hated having to stand here and wait for some stallion to come, and 'pick her'.
But it is what mother would have wanted....what she wanted. For me to go somewhere safe...
She never knew what she was to be safe from, but her mother had told her, time and time again, if anything was to happen to her, find a stallion and stay with him. you will be safe.
But her mother always left out the part about dark stallions that would rape/kill you. So she just hoped, that she might...get lucky. If she didn't like the stallion, couldn't she tell him, to get lost? She had no clue what to do. So she just stood there for a few moments, then whinnied softly, hoping somebody had hear it.....
